My son, Jack (age 8), just came crying into the house screaming that he had been stung by a bee. He had been outside playing t-ball and went to get the ball next to our grape plants and BAM-bee sting right above his eye brow.
I put lavender and melaleuca on the sting. We also got him a bag of ice for the swelling. Looking at it now, about 10-15 minutes later, I see no swelling and he is sitting calmly on the couch waiting for America's Got Talent to start.
Man, I love this stuff. I didn't freak out-I knew what to do. Hooray for doTERRA!
